Doon at Dito: A Charlotte Mason & Gouin-Style Filipino Class for Form 2 and up↑
Learn Filipino through stories, movement, and meaning
What is Doon at Dito?
Doon at Dito is a Filipino language class rooted in the Charlotte Mason philosophy and the Francis Gouin method—designed to help children absorb Filipino grammar and vocabulary through meaningful repetition, stories, and real-life action phrases.
Rather than memorizing isolated rules, students learn Filipino as a living language, grounded in culture, context, and connection.
Resources Used:
Doon at Dito by Santos, Sion & Mariano (spine living book)
Sariling Atin: Filipino Grammar by Yen Cabag (for format)
Living Filipino by Joei Revilleza (for dialogue-based reference only)
Baybayin: A Writing System Primer by Anji Resurreccion (select lessons)
Who Is It For & How Does It Work?
